Choose your platform.
Unsigned local builds: on macOS right-click → Open the first time. Windows SmartScreen will ask once. Portable Windows build and macOS Intel are on the download page.
- macOS
- Apple Silicon or Intel. ffmpeg is bundled (arm64); Intel falls back to Homebrew / PATH ffmpeg.
- Windows
- 10 / 11 x64. A pinned, checksum-verified ffmpeg.exe ships in the installer; NVENC / Quick Sync / AMF are test-encoded at startup.
- Camera
- Anything the OS sees as a video device — Blackmagic Pocket in USB webcam mode, ATEM Mini, Cam Link, generic UVC. DeckLink cards are not supported.
- Optional
- whisper.cpp for auto captions · BlackHole (macOS) or VB-Cable (Windows) for desktop audio · a Stream Dock or Stream Deck.

Current builds are unsigned and un-notarized (local use). macOS: right-click the app → Open once, or xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine. Windows: SmartScreen shows a one-time warning. Signed builds are a configuration change (Developer ID / Authenticode) documented in the repo.
